Women’s group celebrates health

Child protection, human trafficking, non-communicable diseases, domestic violence, and other health related issues top the Women United Together Marshall Islands’ (WUTMI’s) list for this week’s conference which started Monday at the International Conference Center.

This year’s theme: “Tole Mour,” meaning “The Gift of Life and Health.” It is dedicated in honor of late Senator and Iroijlaplap Jurelang Zedkaia, stated WUTMI President Florence Peter.

Health is our responsibility, said Minister Dr. Hilda Heine in her remarks. We should not lose it (our health), keynote speaker Rosina Korean urged the republic.
