RMI Election Update Tuesday PM

By 1:30pm Tuesday 11/17/15, a majority of Majuro regular votes have been tabulated. Here is the updated, still unofficial “regular” vote total results with the following wards included: Aenkan, Rongrong, Iolap, Lobat, Lomar, Woja, Ajeltake, Rairok and Uliga (Rita, Delap and Jeirok are still being tabulated).

These still preliminary results show incumbent Tony Muller in first place for Majuro and candidate Sherwood Tibon in second. Incumbents David Kramer and Brenson Wase are in the third and fourth positions, respectively, while candidate Kalani Kaneko is fifth. Incumbent Phillip Muller is sixth as of this count.

Note: The Majuro absentee vote to many outer islands is large and will often determine outcomes.
