The Marshall Islands Red Cross Society began its “training the trainers” course last week at Majuro Salvation Army in Rita — a development that included five trainees from Ebeye.
Professional First Aid Instructor Cate Keville, who flew in from New Zealand, is conducting the training.
Keville has been a first aid instructor for over 30 years and was a teacher for 15 years before that.
The course continued on last week’s Gospel Holiday on Friday for half day while the rest of Majuro was on holiday and even had a full day of training the following day, Saturday.
