Locals, families and tourists can enjoy increased opportunities this holiday period for flying across the Central Pacific thanks to Nauru Airlines adding extra flights for the peak season. Nauru Airlines Chief Executive Officer Peter Sheehan said that the airline was excited to begin new services between Fiji, Nauru and the nations of Kiribati and Marshall Islands.

“We want to expand our Central Pacific services to everyone and provide accessibility, affordability and excellent service on all our routes,” Sheehan said.

“Our team has been working hard to include the additional routes in time for the busy summer season. We have a two-stage process for creating our new mid-week Fiji and Island Hopper services.”

The first stage of the new services will be connecting Nauru and Fiji on Wednesday mornings with a same day return. This initial promotion will run for four weeks, commencing 19 December.

Stage two and the introduction of mid-week Island Hopper services will commence from Tuesday January 15, 2019. The service will depart Nadi, Fiji and follow Nauru Airlines’ ‘Island Hopper’ route to Majuro.
