Trust Company of the Marshall Islands stepped up and hosted this year’s annual Christmas parade — joining long-time parade sponsor Chamber of Commerce. The candy-filled armada had a massive police force trailing behind and in between vehicles to ensure safety from potential dangers.

Normally, children distance themselves from police. But not these police because they were armed with buckets of candies so kids were chasing after the cops.

Following a hearty lunch break at the Amata Kabua International Airport for the parade team, the flotilla continued on toward Laura — another two hours of candy-tossing and dancing on to Christmas songs going 15mph.

And as if by fate, rain began pouring as the parade reached its turnaround point at Laura.
