14 graduated from AHS

Assumption High School’s 47th commencement exercise took place May 30 at the school compound for 14 graduates. The graduation motto is taken from a text in the holy Bible in Proverbs 3:6: “Seek his will in all you do and He will show you which path to take.”

The ceremony was conducted by Class of 2022 representative emcee Zoe Abraham. It was witnessed by Assumption alumnus Foreign Minister and keynote speaker Casten Nemra, Minister Sandy Alfred, Taiwan Ambassador Jeffrey Hsaio, School Board Chairman Melvin Narruhn, School Board Vice Chairman Rod Reimers, Most Rev. Father Ariel Galido, Principal Victoria Langidrik, Vice Principal Renielda Encarnacion, PTA officers, teachers, faculty and staff, families, and friends.

The awarding of certificates featured community awards that were donated by BOMI, Capelle family, Minister Alfred and family, Scott Stege, PTA officers, MALGov, MIDB, Ace Hardware, Assumption Women’s Club, Jebbel deBrum family foundation, and many others.

Class of 2021 Valedictorian was Micah Agustin and Soledad Jojo Sio was the salutatorian.

Board Chairman Melvin Narruhn handled giving out diplomas to the 14 graduates. After the conclusion of the ceremony the graduates were then escorted by the outgoing junior class to their respective places where all can put leis of gum balls and congratulate them for all their efforts in high school.
