The new Parties to the Nauru Agreement (PNA) headquarters is on track for completion by the end of this year, said Pacific International Inc., which is building the new four-story facility in Majuro.

Workers this week were beginning work on what will become the third floor. The new structure will feature offices on the second and third floors, with accommodations for staff on the top floor.

PNA CEO Ludwig Kumoru said the top floor accommodations could be changed to office space at a later point if PNA needs to expand. He said he’s hopeful the new building will be completed by the end of 2019 so it will be ready for use early next year.
