Bruce honors late Jurelang

Republic of China Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Bruce Linghu paid his respects to the family of late Senator/Iriojlaplap Jurelang Zedkaia in Ajeltake following his attendance Monday at President Casten Nemra’s inauguration.

Linghu was Taiwan’s ambassador to the RMI from 2007 to 2010, a period that included the beginning of former President Zedkaia’s term in office. Linghu led his delegation to the residence of the late Iriojlaplap to pay respects to widow Hannah and family. During the visit, Linghu laid a wreath at the former President’s grave.

The visit to Ajeltake followed his delegation’s attendance at Monday’s inauguration of President Nemra. He was also here to officially launch several important Taiwan-RMI partnership projects, including the christening of the Taiwan Technical Mission piggery house expansion. He was joined by R&D Minister Bruce Bilimon and other VIPs.
