Six weeks after a fire destroyed the DAR store, warehouse and apartments in Uliga, construction is moving for a new building to get various parts of the business back into operation. A storage facility on the ocean side of the lot that did not burn down is being renovated and is expected to house the seamstress operation now in the former VIP section of DAR Cafe. Workers this week were installing the foundation for the store that will be going up on the fire site.
