The 2015 duet between Solomon Islands signing star Rosie Delmah and famed Jamaican reggae singer Conkarah of Adele’s hit song “Hello” rocketed them to international acclaim.

Since then, they’ve combined on many covers, including My Love (2019), Shy Guy (2019), and Always be my baby (2020).

Now they have added a beautiful new song to their long-standing collaboration. Easy On me — another Adele cover — was released on YouTube three weeks ago and it’s already drawn over 100,000 views and thousands of the proverbial thumbs up.

“Stunning,” “great environment to make a video,” “I have no words,” and “Island reggae queen” were among scores of comments.

It features camera work by Tinong Kenlu Kramer — known as Kenlux — of Six9Too Productions in Majuro. Six9Too Productions is credited as the production company. It features Conkarah in the Caribbean and Rosie in Majuro. The video editing brings the two artists together seamlessly. A side dividend of the video is it provides promotion of the Marshall Islands through fine drone footage of Enemanit Island on the north shore of Majuro. Rosie was filmed in several locations, including in the Kramer family’s backyard in Rairok and on Enemanit.

The power of Rosie’s voice is captivating. As they’ve shown in past music video collaborations, their voices complement each other in a stunning way.
Dozens and dozens of viewers from the Pacific islands to Europe posted comments on the YouTube video page. Among the comments:

• “I don’t think you’ve ever done anything that’s not fire. A complete banger.”

• “Absolute stunners either alone or as a collab.”

• “Amazing as always. A brilliant duo.”
