The Japan Coast Guard vessel Itsukushima visited Majuro at the end of last week.
Japan Coast Guard officers engaged with RMI law enforcement authorities in training for ways to safely secure and remove an injured person from a vessel at sea.
The vessel also held a reception on board for VIPs Monday evening this week prior to departing RMI for Sydney, Australia.
