Repeat clean audits for EPA

RMI EPA staff and board members happily show off their FY2019 audit, the second year in a row for a “clean” audit.

RMI EPA staff joined together last week to celebrate the second consecutive year of “no-finding” audits.

“We wanted to share this photo of staff and board of directors of RMI EPA holding yet another clean audit for FY2019, two years in a row now A+,” said EPA General Manager Moriana Phillip.

The Deloitte audit showed no “findings” (problems) and added: “The results of our tests disclosed no instances of non-compliance or other matters that are required to be reported under Government Auditing Standards.”

And, finally, the gold standard for any agency being audited:
“In our opinion, the financial statements referred to above present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of EPA as of September 30, 2019 and 2018, and the changes in its financial position and its cash flows for the years then ended in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America.”
