Food on CMI agenda

Positive changes are happening at the College of Marshall Islands in Majuro — one of which is the availability of meal plans for student residents of the newly refurbished dorms at the main campus in Uliga.

Part of the upgrade after relocating from the Marshall Islands Resort and Hotel Robert Reimers Enterprises this month is lunch meals at the popular Reader Store right next to the school.

Students are now able to charge their federal Pell grants for meals. This is a huge step compared to residential life in the past where the meal option was not available for dorm students.
