The spirit of Christmas was abundant at Assumption Schools Tuesday following a visit from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Commerce. Santa Claus (aka Ben Wakefield) and helpers, who included NRC Minister Dennis Momotaro, Senator Daisy Alik-Momotaro and representatives from offices under NRC, brought gifts and sweet treats to students and staff. Being the grateful students they are, the younger students performed a Christmas skit to the visitors — ending the day with both parties sharing mutual joy.
