Children as young as five will star in the upcoming “The King and I” musical scheduled to hit the International Conference Center at the beginning of next month.
Choreographer Ilona Bito, who flew in from New York City this week, is helping out at the afternoon rehearsals, which are in full throttle mode.
Ilona started dancing when she was three years old, a passion she grew into and has led her to graduating with a Masters in dance from the prestigious Sarah Lawrence College in New York City.
Ilona sacrificed her dance classes in the states in order to help out Andrew Garrod’s production. She has only 15 days to work with the local kids.
