Three cheers for Team Kirtake for weighing in a 332-pound marlin, a 13-pound tuna, a 34-pound wahoo, and a 26-pound barracuda making a total of 410 pounds.
According to a release from the Marshalls Billfish Club about the Budweiser Catch 5 fishing Tournament held on Saturday, Kirtake (Captain Ronnie Reimers) took home the Budweiser special prizes and also weighed in a second barracuda (18 pounds).
Other boats weighing in were:
Team Bella (Captain Damien Milne) caught a 55-pound yellowfin tuna, a 36-pound wahoo, a 34-pound barracuda, and a 31-pound Giant Trevally.
Team Jambo (Captain Kenneth Kramer) brought in a 27-pound yellowfin tuna, a 20-pound wahoo, a 17-pound barracuda, and a 21-pound mahi mahi (and a second 15-pound mahi).
Team Li-Manbwine (Captain John Aister) hooked up 44-pound yellowfin, a 26-pound wahoo, and a 26-pound barracuda.
Team Jinekjej (Captain Beven Wakefield) had a 25-pound wahoo, a 25-pound barracuda, and a 14-pound mahi mahi (plus a 21-pound barracuda).
The release thanked the dock crew: Waylon M, Steven W., Phil W., Solomon, Marmar L., and Joe S. Also mentioned were RRE for their support and Ambros Inc. Budweiser for the special prizes.
