The annual Christmas parade happened Saturday and, perhaps reflecting the distracting times we live in, the parade was smaller in terms of number of participating floats compared to past years.
The parade was organized by the Marshall Islands Chamber of Commerce, and went from Alwal Rita to the end of Laura.
A small number of floats carried loud and happy people sharing Christmas spirits with those lining the road along the way.
Several embassies, a few businesses, the College of the Marshall Islands were among the floats.
As usual it was escorted by police as the people on the floats tossed or handed candies out to parade watchers.
