In order to vote in the 2023 national election, a citizen must be registered, and the registration deadline is this week Friday, December 30.
These Marshall Islands High School students — from left, Charles Heine, Lautrok Alvin, Jekni Saimon, and Souvenir Jelmak — hold up Pacific Media Institute-sponsored bumper stickers encouraging citizens to ensure their voice is heard (“kwalok ainekiem”) in the 2023 election by getting registered to vote.
Next year’s every-four-year national election is the third week of November.
