Aussies host diplomatic training

A two-day diplomatic training hosted by the Australian Embassy in Majuro earlier this month was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Ministry of Health and Human Services. It was hosted by the Australian Embassy at Wallaby Downs.

Topics included understanding and applying international protocol, navigating different cultural settings, advocating and influencing on behalf of one’s country, and organizing and managing official events in any setting to achieve outcomes.

Australian Ambassador Brek Batley and Deputy Chief of Mission Katrina Murray also provided their input and helped the attendees get the most out of their training.
