A mind blowing basketball game hit the Utrikan court last Wednesday when two tough teams went head to head in an astonishing game. The game was controlled for three quarters by team Enewetak holding off Jaluit.
With only five minutes left in the fourth quarter, Enewetak held a commanding 21-point lead.
But Jaluit’s shooters caught on fire, pulling off a shocking comeback to tie it up in the last few seconds of play. Then, to amplify the shock, Jaluit’s Joshua Billy hit a buzzer beater to win the game, the ball dropping through the net after time expired. The crowd went wild, while the Enewetak players were stunned by what just happened.
A remarkable game that everyone enjoyed as Jaluit took home the win.
