College of the Marshall Islands (CMI) celebrated its foundation day this week with a busy schedule. Monday opened with a walk-a-thon and the blessing of their three new buses.

An academic and cultural showcase was the feature on Tuesday at the SSG Solomon Sam Memorial Court. High school students enjoyed the booths, won prizes and enjoyed a dance performance by Marshall Islands High School girls.

Wednesday the college hosted a movie night at Assumption’s McAuliff Hall. A car wash and barbeque sale on CMI campus is scheduled for day time Thursday, and later in the evening a trivia night program is on the agenda.

Friday will be filled with a volleyball tournament at CMI backyard and on Saturday they are finishing with a big bang of variety show and raffle at 7pm.
