Kwajalein Atoll Development Authority is paving the way for the future of Ebeye — quite literally.

The KADA-designated contractor Pacific International Inc. has been on the roll with the  Ebeye paving since the end of January.

Last week, PII was paving the busiest intersection that connects the main traffic and commuters to and from the Bank of Marshall Islands and Ebeye Pier.

Once the main intersection is completed, the rest of the lagoon-side road throughout Ebeye will commence paving.

Current plans are looking into paving portions of the causeway near Enen Jabro (South Loij) and the interior road through North Loij.

Plans are in the pipeline to complete paving Ebeye as a whole — which means paving the ocean-side road of Ebeye. This is of course, pending availability of donor funding.
