Friends of Library of Hawaii donated over 20,000 books and educational DVDs to the Marshall Islands Library Association earlier this month.
Matson and Hawaii Senator Glenn Wakai shipped the assorted books via a large Matson container, which was opened for initial inspection by local librarians at the College of Marshall Islands, members of the Public School System and the Customary Law and Language Commission office.
