Meet Mr. 2020: Kai’ka Isaiah, 6lbs, 12 ounces.
Kai’ka was born on New Year’s Day at Majuro hospital to parents Laura Erakrik and Rison Isaiah. The parents called their bundle of joy their “New Year’s gift.”
Kai’ka is the youngest of four siblings, and as is tradition, his grandmother in Indiana blessed him with his name.
Kai’ka’s mother is a teacher at Melang, Likiep and has been stranded in Majuro as a result of the dengue travel ban since taking up summer courses provided by the Public School System.
