Usually, people abandon outdoor events when it rains — especially when it’s raining cats and dogs. But if the event is sponsored by Daniel Kramer, the famed Majuro maestro, let’s just say no torrential rain is big enough to prevent the party from taking place.

The above statement summarizes the 2019 Summer Jam at the Pacific International Inc dock, where local artists shared the stage with legendary singer Jabubu with special appearances by Ebeye’s hot star Teluwe, the man behind one of RMI’s most listened to songs, “ne kobane kwon ba,” and visiting artist Jaro Local.

The fact that the crowd braved the heavy rain and stayed throughout the night is testament to Daniel’s work in the past, where he defied the norm of people abandoning post at the first sign of rain.

The set up of the event gave a great impression to the general audience and VIPs alike: sections were creatively divided within the compound, notably the Miss Marshall Islands’ lounge and the VIP section.

The fast and friendly service at the bar complemented the vibe of the night, not to mention the huge dance area that was rarely empty due to motivated fans — some even jumped on stage and danced alongside artists.
