Rev. Enja Enos was accorded a state funeral at Nitijela shortly after his remains returned to Majuro on Thursday’s United Airlines flight. Enos died last month on the Big Island of Hawaii from cancer. He was 74. Enos was the President of the United Church of Christ in the Marshall Islands and chaplain for Nitijela. […]

Matson’s new vessel Kamokuiki made its first voyage to Kwajalein and Ebeye Sunday and Monday. It arrived in Majuro Tuesday, delivering dozens of containers for local businesses and government. The Kamokuiki, which translates as “small island,” is providing direct service from the US west coast and Hawaii to the RMI.
Near record high lagoon temperatures coupled with relatively low sea levels are combining to cause coral bleaching in Kwajalein and Majuro.
